The law firm became RANGEL, RANGEL & ASSOCIATES in 1983, when Patricia A. Rangel joined her husband, Diego Rangel as partner and owner. 

Patricia oversees all cases that the firm handles, paying careful attention to details. Patricia is compelling and persuasive in the courtroom. She understands that litigating a case is a costly and lengthy process, and supports negotiating a settlement when in the best interest of the clients.  She believes that professional and ethical attorneys always treat clients, judges, and other lawyers with the utmost respect.

Patricia Rangel is recognized for her accomplishments as an attorney, a business owner, and community activist. She received the 2008 Vanguard Award from the Chicago Bar Association/Puerto Rican Bar Association and the 2006 Business Woman of the Year Award from the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Illinois. She was a tenured professor at the City Colleges of Chicago for over 30 years and continues to serve as an active member of several community organizations and local bar associations.
